Overview of Tracking Groups performance

The Tracking Groups performance overview helps you analyze your campaign performance by combining tracking data from Captures, Checkouts, Leads, and/or Sales.

Additionally, in the Detail section, you have access to the basic data of the tracking group. In the Audit section, you have access to the complete traceability history of events.

Before you start, you need to…

  • Be an administrator user or have permission to perform the following actions.

  • Have any type of P.P.C.T.s created (Sales, Checkouts, Leads and Captures).

Detail

In the Detail section, you can view all Tracking Group information, such as name, product, custom domain, and user.

Steps:

1 - Select the Tracking Groups list - a screen with the data will be displayed.

2 - In Detail, the list displays the following information:

  1. Name: name or title to identify the tracking;

  2. Product: product that identifies the tracking - we recommend choosing the Global Tracking product(1);

  3. Custom Domain: custom domain for the group's tracking links;

  4. User: user responsible for creating and managing the group;

  5. Created at: group creation date;

  6. Updated at: group last update date.

(1) By default, always select the Global (Tracking) product for all elements (P.P.C.T.s) involved in the tracking. If this product does not exist, create it in Products.

Leads

In the Leads section, you can view lead information such as name, origin, duplicate URL, and remove group. This feature is useful for finding leads captured in tracking.

Steps:

1 - Select the Tracking Groups list - a screen with the data will be displayed.

2 - In Leads, the list displays the following information:

  1. Name: name that identifies the tracking;

  2. Origin: traffic origin of the tracking;

  3. Product: product that identifies the tracking;

  4. User: owner of the tracking;

  5. Disclosure URL: tracking disclosure URL;

  6. Destination URL: tracking destination URL;

  7. Duplicate: creates a copy of the selected tracking with a new name and disclosure URL;

  8. Remove from Group: removes the lead tracking from the created tracking group.

3 - If desired, click on the lead tracking and consult the lead P.P.C.T. information.

Add Lead P.P.C.T.

You can add new tracking to the Tracking Group or add an existing lead tracking.

Steps:

1 - Select the Tracking Groups list - a screen with the data will be displayed.

2 - In Leads, click on Add.

3 - In Create New Tracking, enter the following data:

  1. New: select the new option;

  2. Name: enter the name or title to identify the new tracking;

  3. Friendly URL: automatically generated from the tracking name, it is a simple text to remember or type that will appear at the end of the tracked URL - if desired, you can change it;

  4. Destination URL: enter the destination page URL that will be displayed after clicking the link;

  5. Source: select the traffic origin where you will use the tracking link;

  6. Active: to activate tracking, switch the button to the active position.

4 - Click on Send.

Associate already created Lead P.P.C.T.

it is possible to associate existing Lead P.P.C.T.s to a created Tracking Group. This feature is useful for associating already created lead P.P.C.T.s to Tracking Groups in Guru.

Steps:

1 - Select the Tracking Groups list - a screen with the data will be displayed.

2 - In Leads, click on Add.

3 - In Add Existing Trackings, enter the following data:

  1. Existing: select the existing option;

  2. Lead P.P.C.T.: select the already created lead P.P.C.T.

4 - Click on Send.


Captures

In the Captures section, you can configure a form with tracking to capture leads on a page. This feature is useful for finding leads captured in tracking.

Steps:

1 - Select the Tracking Groups list - a screen with the data will be displayed.

2 - In Captures, the list displays the following information:

  1. Name: name that identifies the tracking;

  2. Product: product that identifies the tracking;

  3. User: owner of the tracking;

  4. Disclosure URL: tracking disclosure URL;

  5. Destination URL: tracking destination URL;

  6. Duplicate: creates a copy of the selected tracking with a new name and disclosure URL;

  7. Remove from Group: removes the capture tracking from the created tracking group.

3 - If desired, click on the capture tracking and consult the capture P.P.C.T. information.

Add Capture P.P.C.T.

You can add new tracking to the Tracking Group or add an existing capture tracking.

Steps:

1 - Select the Tracking Groups list - a screen with the data will be displayed.

2 - In Captures, click on Add.

3 - In Create New Tracking, enter the following data:

  1. New: select the new option;

  2. Name: name that identifies the tracking;

  3. Destination URL: tracking destination URL;

  4. Forward Form Data: when enabled, sends the captured data to the next page;

  5. Active: to activate tracking, switch the button to the active position.

4 - Click on Send.

Associate already created Capture P.P.C.T.

it is possible to associate existing Capture P.P.C.T.s to a created Tracking Group. This feature is useful for associating already created capture P.P.C.T.s to Tracking Groups in Guru.

Steps:

1 - Select the Tracking Groups list - a screen with the data will be displayed.

2 - In Captures, click on Add.

3 - In Add Existing Trackings, enter the following data:

  1. Existing: select the existing option;

  2. Forms P.P.C.T.: select the already created capture P.P.C.T.

4 - Click on Send.


Sales

In the Sales section, you can view all sales information for the P.P.C.T.s. In addition, you can add sales P.P.C.T.s and associate them with already created sales P.P.C.T.s.

Steps:

1 - Select the Tracking Groups list - a screen with the data will be displayed.

2 - In Sales, the list displays the following information:

  1. Name: name that identifies the tracking;

  2. Origin: origin location of the P.P.C.T. traffic;

  3. Product: product that identifies the tracking;

  4. User: owner of the tracking;

  5. Disclosure URL: tracking disclosure URL;

  6. Destination URL: tracking destination URL;

  7. Duplicate: creates a copy of the selected checkout tracking with a new name and disclosure URL;

  8. Remove from Group: removes the sales tracking from the created tracking group.

3 - If desired, click on the sales tracking and consult the sales P.P.C.T. information.

Add Sales P.P.C.T.

You can add new tracking to the Tracking Group or add an existing sales tracking.

Steps:

1 - Select the list of Tracking Groups - a screen with the data will be displayed.

2 - In Sales, click on Add.

3 - In Create New Tracking, enter the following data:

  1. Name: name that identifies the tracking;

  2. Friendly URL: tracking disclosure URL;

  3. Destination URL: tracking destination URL;

  4. Field: select the field in the marketplace - if you are using Guru Checkout: recommended to select β€œsrcβ€œ and/or External Checkout: select a compatible field;

  5. Source: source location of the P.P.C.T. traffic;

  6. Active: to activate tracking, switch the button to the on position.

Associate existing Sales P.P.C.T.s

it is possible to associate existing Sales P.P.C.T.s to a created Tracking Group. This feature is useful for associating already created sales P.P.C.T.s with Tracking Groups in Guru.

Steps:

1 - Select the list of Tracking Groups - a screen with the data will be displayed.

2 - In Sales, click on Add.

3 - In Add Existing Products, enter the following data:

  1. Existing: select the existing option;

  2. Sales P.P.C.T. : select the already created Sales P.P.C.T.

4 - Click on Send.


Checkouts

In the Checkouts section, you can view all the information about the P.P.C.T. checkouts. In addition, you can add P.P.C.T. checkouts and associate them with already created P.P.C.T. checkouts.

Steps:

2 - In Checkout, the list displays the following information:

  1. Name: name that identifies the tracking;

  2. Product: product that identifies the tracking;

  3. User: owner of the tracking;

  4. Disclosure URL: tracking disclosure URL;

  5. Destination URL: tracking destination URL;

  6. Duplicate: creates a copy of the selected checkout tracking with a new name and disclosure URL;

  7. Remove from Group: removes the checkout tracking from the created tracking group.

3 - If desired, click on the checkout tracking and consult the checkout P.P.C.T. information.

Add Checkout P.P.C.T.s

You can add new tracking to the Tracking Group or add an existing checkout tracking.

Steps:

1 - Select the list of Tracking Groups - a screen with the data will be displayed.

2 - In Checkout, click on Add.

3 - In Create New Tracking, enter the following data:

  1. Name: name that identifies the tracking;

Associate existing Checkout P.P.C.T.s

It is possible to associate existing Checkout P.P.C.T.s to a created Tracking Group. This feature is useful for associating already created checkout P.P.C.T.s with Tracking Groups in Guru.

Steps:

1 - Select the list of Tracking Groups - a screen with the data will be displayed.

2 - In Checkout, click on Add.

3 - In Add Existing Trackings, enter the following data:

  1. Existing: select the existing option;

  2. Checkout P.P.C.T.: select the already created checkout P.P.C.T.

4 - Click on Send.


Audit

As a security measure, Guru stores a history of all operations performed in the integration, identifying the user, date/time of the operation, and other details.

Steps:

1 - Select the list of Tracking Groups - a screen with the data will be displayed.

2 - Click on the Audit tab.

3 - Activities are displayed in a timeline (from most recent to oldest).

4 - If desired, you can view the activity detail by clicking on its title.

5 - Click on one of the available sections to view the data:

Detail

Displays detailed information about the activity in question.

  1. ID: identification number (ID) of the update;

  2. Type of change performed;

  3. Created on: activity registration date.

User

Displays information about the user who performed the action.

  1. Name: name of the user who performed the operation;

  2. Email: email of the user who performed the operation.

Infrastructure

Displays infrastructure information (country, IP, user agent…) of the related activity.

  1. Country, Region, City, Latitude & Longitude: location of the device that performed the activity;

  2. IP: device IP address;

  3. User Agent: identification of the user agent that performed the operation.

How to filter the Audit list

You can use the filters to view a smaller subset of existing audits. This feature is useful for finding specific audits you want to view.

By default, only records from the last 28 days will be shown, but the period can be changed in the filters, in the Period.field.

Steps:

1 - Select the list of Tracking Groups - a screen with the data will be displayed.

2 - Click on the Audit tab.

3 - In Audit, click on Filters.

4 - Fill in one or more filter options:

  1. Period: searches for audits registered in the selected period - you can use the predefined time range buttons or select the date you want to view.

5 - Click on Filter.

You can view the number of applied filters, and by using them, you can clear them without accessing the Filters icon again, facilitating the removal of the selection.
