By integrating your Ontraport account, you can pass leads captured by Guru, buyer data, and sale data in order to segment your contacts in Ontraport, engaging with them in a personalized way while tracking conversions and revenue.
To enable the integration, you need to obtain your API credentials from your Ontraport account, then set the rules for contact segmentation, and map additional sale or subscription fields.

Before starting, you need to:

Have an Ontraport account.

Be an administrator user or have permission to perform the following actions.
Step 1: Obtain API Credentials
In this step, you will obtain the API credentials in your Ontraport account.
Steps:
1 - Log in to your Ontraport account with username and password.
2 - Click on My Profile and then Admin.
3 - In the side menu, click on Integrations.
4 - Click on Add/Delete keys.
5 - Click on New API Key.
6 - Enter:

API Key: enter the name of the API key;

Contact Owner: enter the contact user;

Select options for your key: select the options you want for your API key.
7 - Click Save.
8 - Copy and store the App ID and your API Key.
Step 2: Activate the integration with Ontraport
In this step, you will enable the Ontraport integration in Guru.
The API Key/Token will no longer be available after saving the integration. If you change the API key, it will not be valid, and you will need to return to the Ontraport environment to obtain the key.
This change will provide greater security for your account, as it will not be possible to view the integration data.
Steps:
1 - Access the Guru admin with your username and password.
2 - In the side menu, access Settings > Integrations > Autoresponders > Ontraport.
3 - In the Detail tab, enter:

APP ID: your APP ID obtained in step 1 - item 8;

API Key: your API key obtained in step 1 - item 8;

Active: toggle the switch to the on position.
4 - Click on Send.
To confirm that the integration is active, you should see a notification in the upper right corner.
What to do next
Once the integration with Ontraport is active, you must configure the rules for segmenting contacts in Ontraport; and map any additional fields you want (optional step).
