Activate Kartra Integration

By integrating your Kartra account, you can pass leads captured by Guru, buyer and sales data in order to segment your contacts in Kartra, to build personalized relationships while monitoring conversions and revenue.

To activate the integration, you need to obtain your API credentials in your Kartra account, then set the rules for contact segmentation, and map additional sales or subscription fields.

Before you begin, you need to:

  • Have an account with Kartra.

  • Be an administrator user or have permission to perform the following actions.

Step 1: Obtain API Credentials

In this step, you will obtain the API credentials in your Kartra account.

Steps:

1 - Access your Kartra account with your username and password.

2 - Obtain the credentials for APP AP, the created Account ID and the password.

Step 2: Activate Integration with Kartra

In this step, you will enter the API credentials obtained in Kartra into Guru.

The API key/token will not be available after saving the integration. If you change the API key, it will not be valid, and you will need to return to the Kartra environment to obtain the key.

This change will bring greater security to your account, making it impossible to view integration data.

Steps:

1 - Access the Guru admin with your username and password.

2 - In the side menu, access Settings > Integrations > Autoresponders > Kartra.

3 - On the Details tab, enter:

  1. App ID: your APP API obtained from your Kartra account;

  2. Account ID: your account ID obtained from Kartra;

  3. Password: your account password obtained from Kartra;

  4. Active: switch the toggle to the on position.

4 - Click Send.

To confirm that the integration is active, you should see a notice in the upper right corner.

What to do next

Once the integration with Kartra is active, you must configure the rules for contact segmentation in Kartra; and map the additional fields you want (optional step).

This configuration is done through:

1 - Sales Status Mapping for Kartra;

2 - Sending Custom Data to Kartra.
