Pix Payment and Installment Rules on Stripe
-
Pix Availability by Account Location:
-
International Accounts: pix is only available for Stripe accounts based outside Brazil (e.g., Switzerland, USA, etc.); and
-
Accounts in Brazil: stripe accounts configured in Brazil do not support Pix - for example, if a Brazilian seller needs to charge a Brazilian buyer via Pix, they must use another payment processor other than Stripe.
-
Audience and Installment Restrictions:
-
The Pix payment method, when available (in international accounts), is exclusive to customers located in Brazil, in addition, Stripe also does not allow installments.
Expand payment options in your checkout
You can add payment methods such as Paypal and Criptomoeda to your checkout! Consult compatible payment processors in the guru Checkout options list.
Note on MB WAY processing on Stripe:
MB WAY payment processing follows a global prioritization hierarchy (SIBS, Stripe, and Adyen), regardless of the offer's marketplace. To maintain current behavior, SIBS will always have maximum priority and will be used to process the transaction if active. To enable processing via Stripe, it is mandatory that the SIBS integration is deactivated in the system.
Each payment processor has its own rules for transaction authorization, which may involve security validations and internal platform criteria. To consult the reasons for refusal and more details about these returns, access the stripe documentation.
Integration and Configuration
To activate the integration, you need to inform Guru of your Stripe production account keys.
You activate the integration with Stripe and perform additional configurations in the section Settings » Integrations » Guru Checkout » Stripe.
Once the integration is active, add products and offers to generate the checkout links.
