Important: P.P.C.T. information is not automatically generated; you need to add them manually so you can monitor your conversion campaigns.
Coupon code and coupon value
In Guru, you have access to information about generated discount coupons and can measure whether they were used.
The sales report records the following information, allowing you to evaluate the performance of each offer:
-
Coupon code: displays the exact coupon code that was applied to the transaction, and by knowing the code, you identify which discount campaign generated each sale and compare the performance of different coupons;
-
Coupon value: indicates the total value of the discount granted - allows you to understand the impact of the discount on your net revenue and evaluate the return on investment (ROI) by measuring whether the offered discount was worthwhile and if the increase in sales compensated for the reduction in margin.
Coupon information provides a clear view of the effectiveness of your promotional strategies and allows you to answer questions about whether the generated campaigns yielded a return, being an essential tool for making data-driven decisions about your future promotions.
Customer journey (capture and origin)
These columns are crucial for understanding the path the customer took before making a purchase, especially in sales that do not happen on the first interaction. This information records the origin and date of each interaction the customer had with your business.
The data includes:
-
First Origin: indicates where the customer came from the first time they interacted with your business - it could be an ad, an organic search, an email, etc. This information shows the customer's entry point into your sales funnel;
-
First Capture Date: records the day the customer had their first contact with you - it is the initial registration date, regardless of when the sale was completed;
-
Last Capture: is the last interaction the customer had with your business before completing the purchase. This is important because the first interaction is not always the one that generates the sale - for example, the customer may have seen a Google ad (
first origin), but only bought after clicking on an offer email (last origin). -
Last origin: displays the traffic source that led to the final purchase - analyzing this origin is fundamental to optimizing your campaigns, as it reveals which marketing action was most decisive for conversion, and
-
Last Capture Date: the exact day of the last interaction the customer had with your business before the purchase.
Analyzing this data together allows you to understand customer behavior and also see how long it took them to buy and which channels influenced them at different points in the journey.
This helps refine your marketing strategies and allocate your budget to the channels that truly convert.
