By integrating your Twilio account, you can automatically trigger messages to your customers based on the sale status.
To enable the integration, you need to obtain your API credentials from your Twilio account and then set the sale status rules for sending messages.

Step 2: Activate integration
-
What to do next
Before you begin you need to:
-
Have an account with Twilio.
-
Be an administrator user or have permission to perform the following actions.
Step 1: Obtain API Key
In this step, you will obtain the API credentials from your Twilio account.
Steps:
1 - Log in to your account with your username and password on Twilio.
2 - In the top menu, click Account and then API Keys & Tokens.
3 - Click Create API key.
4 - Next, enter:
-
Friendly name: enter a name for your API key;
-
Region: select the region you want;
-
Key Type: select the key type you want.
5 - Click Create.
6 - Copy and store the Account SID and Auth Token.
7 - Click Done.
Step 2: Enable Integration with Twilio
In this step, you will enter the API credentials obtained from Twilio into Guru.
The API key/Token will not be available after saving the integration. If you change the API key, it will no longer be valid, requiring you to return to the Twilio environment to obtain the key.
This change will provide greater security for your account, making it impossible to view integration data.
Steps:
1 - Access the Guru admin with your username and password.
2 - In the side menu, go to Settings > Integrations > SMS > Twilio.
3 - In the Detail tab, enter:
-
Account SID: your account ID obtained in step 1 - item 6;
-
Auth Token: your authentication token obtained in step 1 - item 6;
-
Active: switch the button to the on position.
4 - Click Send.
To confirm that the integration is active, you should see a notification in the top right corner.
What to do next
Once the integration with Twilio is active, you must configure the sale status rules for sending messages.
This configuration is done through:
1 - Sales Status Mapping for Twilio.
