Activate SMSOnline Integration

By integrating your SMSOnline account, you can automatically trigger messages to your customers according to the sale status.

To enable the integration, you need to create an account at SMSOnline, enter your username and password in Guru, and then define the sale status rules for sending messages.

Before you begin, you need to:

  • Have an SMSOnline account.

  • Be an administrator user or have permission to perform the following actions.

Step 1: Enable Integration with SMSOnline

In this step, you will enter your SMSOnline account username and password in Guru.

Credentials will not be available after saving the integration. If you change the API key, it will no longer be valid, requiring you to return to the SMSOnline environment to obtain the key.

This change will bring greater security to your account, making it impossible to view integration data.

Steps:

1 - Access the guru admin with your username and password.

2 - In the side menu, go to Settings > Integrations > SMS > SMSOnline.

3 - On the Detail tab, enter:

  1. Username: username of your SMSOnline account;

  2. Password: password of your SMSOnline account;

  3. Sender1: the sender you want to appear on the messages;

  4. Active: switch the button to the on position.

(1) The sender cannot be longer than 11 characters.

4 - Click on Send.

To confirm that the integration is active, you should see a notice in the upper right corner.

Once the integration with SMSOnline is active, you must configure the sale status rules for sending messages.
