- How to interpret revenue and cost in the funnel?

In the Sales P.P.C.T. Dashboard, revenue and cost help understand the relationship between traffic investment and the financial return of campaigns.

You can observe how these indicators behave throughout the funnel to assess whether the generated return aligns with the investment made:

In revenue and ROI, you access information such as the total valid sales and the value invested in traffic.

Indicator

Description

Revenue

Total sum of valid sales (status approved or complete) in the filtered period - the value already considers adjustments such as refunds, reflecting a revenue closer to reality.

Cost

Total value invested in traffic to generate tracked clicks, checkouts, and sales - this data can be automatically synchronized via integrations with ad platforms.

The relationship between revenue and cost is analyzed through roi and efficiency indicators.

Indicator

Description

ROI

Indicates whether the financial return obtained compensates for the investment made in traffic.

CPV

Shows the average cost invested to generate each valid sale.

Ideal CPV

Estimates the cost per sale required to reach the break-even point or a defined profitability target.

Average Ticket

Represents the average value of each sale, calculated from the total revenue divided by the number of sales.

These metrics allow evaluating the financial efficiency of campaigns and supporting decisions for investment optimization and traffic strategy.

- What does Ideal CPV mean?

The Ideal CPV (Ideal Cost Per Sale) indicates the projected cost per sale by the system for the campaign to maintain the expected profitability.

In practice, the Ideal CPV functions as a strategic parameter to guide optimization decisions, indicating how much can be invested per sale to keep the return on investment within expectations.

How does it work in Guru?

In Guru's reports, the Ideal CPV can be presented in two variations:

  • Ideal CPV (100% ROI), which considers the ROI cost per ideal sale;

  • and Ideal CPV, which directly represents the reference cost per sale.

The calculation of Ideal CPV is performed using the formula ROI (invested value) × CPC (cost per lead). This indicator is part of a detailed analysis of campaign performance, connecting traffic investment to sales results, while the conversion rate helps evaluate whether generated leads are efficiently progressing through the funnel to purchase.

This indicator is displayed in the P.P.C.T.s and in the A/B Neural Sales Capture Funnel.

- is it possible to identify the most profitable source by the Sales P.P.C.T.?

Yes. The Sales P.P.C.T. Dashboard allows identifying the most profitable traffic sources through comparative analysis of the metrics displayed in the Sourcessection, which consolidates data from all trackings from the same traffic source.

In it, you visualize data from all tracking links used in the same traffic source, such as Facebook, Google, or Instagram, offering a comparative view of each channel's performance.

For this evaluation, focus mainly on:

The most profitable source is not necessarily the one that generates the most sales, but rather the one that presents the best balance between positive ROI, higher net total, and lower cost per sale, and not necessarily the one that generates the most sales.

By comparing these metrics, you can direct investments to the channels that bring the highest return and adjust strategies for sources with lower performance.

Plan (Product) Performance

Clarify your doubts about the performance of plans (products) on the P.P.C.T. (Sales) Dashboard. The presented data allows identifying which offers generate more sales and greater financial results, supporting strategic decisions on campaigns, pricing, and product structure.

- How is the total number of plans (products) sold calculated?

On the Sales P.P.C.T. Dashboard, the total number of plans sold indicates the volume of items commercialized for each plan (product), considering the offer's composition, and not just the quantity of sales made.

To perform the calculation, the system multiplies the number of approved sales by the number of products included in each plan (product) - for example, if a plan is sold 5 times and each sale includes 3 products, the dashboard will display 15 products sold.

By default, the data reflects the last 28 days, but the values are automatically adjusted according to the filters applied in the dashboard.

For better data visualization and analysis, it is possible to export the Best-selling Plans (products) spreadsheet by clicking the CSV button in the upper right corner of the section.

- What does the Total Affiliates indicate in the analysis of plans (products)?

The total affiliates represents the total value paid in commissions to affiliates for the sales of each plan (product) in the analyzed period.

This metric allows evaluating the participation of the affiliation channel in plan performance and the impact of commissions on the product margin - high values indicate strong participation of affiliates in sales, while lower values may signal predominantly direct sales or reduced commissions.

For better data visualization and analysis, it is possible to export the Best-selling Plans (products) spreadsheet by clicking the CSV button in the upper right corner of the section.

- How to prioritize metrics in the analysis of Best-selling Plans (products)?

The choice of metrics to prioritize in the analysis of Best-selling Plans (products) depends on the analysis objective. Each indicator offers a different perspective on plan performance and should be interpreted strategically.

- What is the difference between Sources and Trackings in the Sales P.P.C.T. Dashboard?

The difference between Sources and Trackings in the sales P.P.C.T. dashboard lies in the form of grouping and the detail of the information presented.

  • Sources: presents a consolidated view of the performance by traffic source, bringing together trackings associated with the same channel, such as Facebook Ads or Instagram - this view facilitates the analysis of which channels are generating more sales, revenue, and overall financial return;

  • Trackings: presents a detailed view by tracking link (P.P.C.T.) created for specific campaigns - it is possible to individually analyze the performance of each link, including metrics such as clicks, valid sales, revenue, and ROI.

Thus, in Sources you can evaluate the global performance of each channel, while in the Trackings section you can compare the performance of campaigns, ads, or specific variations within the same source.

At Guru, the P.P.C.T. is created through tracked links, without the need to install scripts on the pages - this model allows tracking the entire user journey and calculating ROI accurately.

When creating an P.P.C.T., you choose the tracking type most suitable for your strategy (Sales, Leads, Checkout or Capture), define the traffic source, product, and destination URL. After creation, a disclosure URL is generated, which should be used in ads or purchase buttons.

- Why do some trackings appear with clicks, but no sales?

In general, if a tracking shows clicks but no sales, it may be necessary to adjust the settings or check for account status restrictions.

The most common causes are:

  • Zero credit balance: with the balance exhausted, Guru stops registering new conversions, even if clicks continue to be counted - you can check your credits in the My Account section of the admin;

  • Inactive or canceled subscription(1): if the trial period has expired or if the plan is not active, the system stops counting sales in trackings - therefore, it is important to activate the plan before the end of the trial, ensuring the continuity of conversion registration;

  • Incorrect URL flow: the ad must point to the P.P.C.T. disclosure URL, and the page's purchase buttons need to direct to the P.P.C.T. Checkout;

  • Inconsistent tracking fields: P.P.C.T.s from the same campaign must use the same product and the same tracking field;

  • Use of external shorteners: third-party tools can break the tracking chain;

  • Limitations of external platforms: external platforms may hide the destination URL, making it difficult to automatically link the sale to the P.P.C.T.

(1) Canceled subscriptions cannot be reactivated. To avoid operational interruption, regularize your situation by clicking on the platform's notice to regularize payment, to change/update registered card details.

Reviewing these points usually resolves most cases of clicks without registered sales.

For better data visualization and analysis, it is possible to export the spreadsheet of Trackings by clicking the CSV button in the upper right corner of the section.
