The ticketing system (E-ticket) manages and sells tickets for in-person or online events.
The Guru offers everything you need to manage access to your event, from sales to participant check-in, performing accreditation, facilitating participant access, and handling all processes related to this stage.
To sell tickets through Guru, simply create your E-ticket product, providing the event details, and create the offer with the price, payment methods, and other configurations you desire. This will generate a URL that you can use on your sales page, in Whats. App messages, email, or any other way you use to communicate with your customer.
How it Works
When a customer purchases tickets through Guru Checkout, one or more tickets (E-ticket) are generated in the E-tickets area, associated with the contact who made the purchase. Your customer must access the My Orders area to send the ticket invitation generated for event participants by providing each person's email. Then, an email is sent to each participant for them to confirm their participation in the event via a customizable form, and then they can generate the ticket with the check-in data.
With all tickets assigned and generated, you can create different users with specific permissions to perform accreditation through the Accreditation Mode available in the E-tickets area.
During the event organization process, it may be necessary to change invitations, cancel tickets, or perform early check-in. These settings can be performed by your collaborators through the Guru admin or make these self-service options available in the Subscriber Portal.
How to Sell and Manage Tickets
To start selling tickets through Guru Checkout, 4 steps are required:
-
Register event data in the created product;
-
Customize the registration form (optional);
-
Create product offers with price, payment methods, and other configurations.
Each ticket type must be registered as a new product within Guru.
For example: The Gold ticket for event XYZ must be registered as a new product with the event data and its respective offer. The Diamond ticket for the same event must be registered as another product, with the same event data and respective offer.
Tip: after creating the first product with the event data, you can duplicate it so that it imports the data and thus skip this step.
After issuing tickets, you can perform the following actions through your Guru account:
-
Send the invitation for the participant;
-
Get the URL of registration confirmation or ticket;
-
Cancel invitation - You can invite again;
-
Cancel ticket - You will not be able to perform any further action on the ticket after cancellation;
-
Do check-in of the participant.
If you need to issue tickets free of charge for your partners, guests or sponsors, you can do so in the contact registration detail to whom you want to offer the tickets and inform which ticket and quantity you want to issue.
