Sale variables or fields are markers that represent and display sale attributes in a place outside the sale detail. In Guru, a variable can be used as:

Placeholder in a message: used to insert personalized content in transactional emails or SMS that you configure.

Field mapping for another tool: used to send sale attributes to other tools such as an autoresponder, for example.
Most variable names are self-descriptive and their nomenclature describes the context and name of the attribute. For example: Pagamento -> Forma de Pagamento refers to the payment method chosen by the buyer.
It is worth remembering that when sending, in the message or field mapping, the variable name is replaced by the attribute value, which in the example above could be Cartão de Crédito.
