Transactional Email Information

You can consult the activities associated with a transactional email, as well as manage all changes made and related data.

Detail

In the Detail section, you can edit or view information such as type, subject, or text that will be part of the email body.

Steps:

1 - According to the type of email you want to configure:

1.1 - about a Subscription: access the menu Settings » Transactional Emails and click on Subscriptions.

1.2 - about an E-ticket: access the menu Settings » Transactional Emails and click on E-tickets.

1.3 - in the My Orders area: access the menu Settings » Transactional Emails and click on My Orders.

1.4 - about a Sale: access the menu Settings » Transactional Emails and click on Sales.

2 - Click on the Detail tab.

3 - In Detail, you can edit or view the following information:

  1. Type: status or situation in which the email is triggered;

  2. Subject: enter the text that will be part of the email subject. You can add variables to display personalized or dynamic content;

  3. Email: enter the text that will be part of the email body - you can add variables to display personalized or dynamic content;

  4. Active: switch the button to the on position.

How to edit and view variables in transactional email

  • Position the cursor where you want to add the variable (subject or email body)

    • Fill in the Search (item 5 in the image) field to find the desired variable (optional)

    • Click on the Variable1 (item 6 in the image) desired.

1 The names of most variables are self-descriptive and their nomenclature describes the context and attribute name, but if necessary, you can consult the list of variables for subscription, sales, product and contact.

After saving, you can preview the email by clicking on the “eye” icon (item 7 in the image above).


Audit

As a security measure, Guru stores a history of all operations performed, identifying user, date/time of operation, and other details. At any time, you can consult the history of changes made to an email template.

Steps:

1 - According to the desired email type:

1.1 - about a Subscription: access the menu Settings » Transactional Emails and click on Subscriptions.

1.2 - about an E-ticket: access the menu Settings » Transactional Emails and click on E-tickets.

1.3 - in the My Orders area: access the menu Settings » Transactional Emails and click on My Orders.

1.4 - about a Sale: access the menu Settings » Transactional Emails and click on Sales.

2 - Click on the Audit tab.

3 - Activities are displayed in a timeline (from most recent to oldest).

4 - If desired, you can view the activity detail by clicking on its title.

5 - Click on one of the available sections to view the data:

Detail

Displays detailed information about the activity in question.

  1. ID: identification code;

  2. Type of change made;

  3. JSON1: event data in JSON format - when applicable;

  4. Created on: activity registration date.

(1) Displayed only for events that pass through Guru's processing queue.

Infrastructure

Displays infrastructure information (country, IP, user agent…) related to the activity.

  1. Country, Region, City, Latitude & Longitude: location of the device that performed the activity;

  2. IP: device IP address;

  3. User Agent: identification of the user agent that performed the operation.

How to filter the Audit list

You can use the filters to view a smaller subset of existing audits. This feature is useful for finding specific audits you want to view.

By default, only records from the last 28 days will be shown, but the period can be changed in the filters, in the Period.field.

Steps:

1 - According to the desired email type:

1.1 - about a Subscription: access the menu Settings » Transactional Emails and click on Subscriptions.

1.2 - about an E-ticket: access the menu Settings » Transactional Emails and click on E-tickets.

1.3 - in the My Orders area: access the menu Settings » Transactional Emails and click on My Orders.

1.4 - about a Sale: access the menu Settings » Transactional Emails and click on Sales.

2 - Click on the Audit tab.

3 - Under Audit, click on Filters.

4 - Fill in one or more filter options:

  1. Period: searches for audits registered in the selected period - you can use the predefined time interval buttons or select the date you want to view;

5 - Click on Filter.

You can view the number of applied filters, and when using them, you will be able to clear them without accessing the Filters icon again, making it easier to remove the selection.
