Activate integration with Malga

By integrating your Malga account with Guru, you will be able to process your customers' payments through Checkout Guru and manage your entire business through our platform.

To activate the integration, you must access your Malga account, obtain the production credentials, and then enter them in Guru. After activating the integration, you must add products and offers to get checkout links.

Before you begin you need to:

  • Have an active production account at Malga.

  • Be an administrator user or have permission to perform the following actions.

Step 1: Obtain credentials

In this step, you must create an account at Malga, and then contact suporte@malga.io by email requesting account activation and generation of the api keys and the Merchant ID for your subaccount.

If you previously tested the integration with test credentials, you must contact Malga support to request validation of your account to activate the integration. If you want more information about the testing stage, access the documentation on activating your Malga account.

Steps:

1 - Access the malga dashboard with your username and password.

2 - On the homepage, copy and store:

  1. CLIENT ID

  2. KEY ID

  3. MERCHANT ID

The API credentials and Merchant ID must be copied and stored after validation and activation of your account by Malga support via email at suporte@malga.io.

Attention: If you tested the integration with test credentials, you must contact malga supportto validate the services in your integration. Test credentials do not activate the integration, as they will be updated after testing is completed.

Step 2: Activate Integration

In this step, you must enter your Malga integration credentials in the Guru admin.

The API key will not be available after saving the integration. If you change the API key, it will no longer be valid, requiring you to return to the Malga environment to obtain the key.
This change will bring greater security to your account, making it impossible to view integration data.

Steps:

1 - Access the guru admin with your username and password.

2 - In the side menu, access Settings > Integrations > Guru’s Checkout > Malga.

3 - In the Detail tab, enter:

  1. Client ID: obtained from step 1 - item 2;

  2. Api Key: obtained from step 1 - item 2;

  3. Merchant ID: obtained from step 1 - item 2;

  4. Pix Due Date (in days)1: pix expiration period (in days);

  5. Boleto Due Date (in days)1: bank Slip expiration period (in days);

  6. Soft Descriptor: description to be displayed on the customer's card statement - special characters not allowed;

  7. Switch the Active toggle to the on position if you want to allow Sales Without Address;

  8. Enable 3DS Authentication2: if the 3D Secure feature is already enabled on your Malga account, switch the toggle to the on position - otherwise, leave it off;

  9. Switch the Active toggle to the on position if you want to require 3DS liability shift - the sale is only approved if the customer's bank assumes the risk of potential fraud;

  10. Active: switch the toggle to the on position.

4 - Click Send.

To confirm that the integration is active, you should see your Malga account data on the right side of the Details tab.

What to Do Next

Once the integration with Malga is active, you must access the Products section to add the products and their respective offers.

Remember to link the product to Malga (field marketplace) and enter the type corresponding to the desired sale mode: product (single purchase) or subscription (recurring billing). After adding an offer, the checkout link will be available for promotion.
