Currently, Ebanx requires sellers to comply with a set of requirements to ensure clarity and transparency when selling subscriptions (recurring charges).
Among the required practices, the following stand out: online cancellation option, order confirmation by electronic means, disclosure and acceptance of terms of use by the buyer.
To meet most of the requirements, simply adjust a few settings in the Guru admin.

Starting September 22, 2022, offers with a Mastercard payment method must require reading the terms and a click for acceptance by the buyer. According to the mandate, "providing a link to another web page or requiring the cardholder to expand a message box or scroll down the page to view the subscription terms does not meet this requirement". This acceptance information may be requested at any time by Mastercard from the seller for auditing purposes. |
