The Guru holds annual awards for sellers who excelled and secured their millions in the previous year. The award consists of receiving a plaque according to the revenue category achieved in the previous year through Checkout Guru.

How the award works

The annual award is international and aims to recognize sellers who achieved a large volume of sales through Checkout Guru in the previous year; for example, at the beginning of 2023, the best sellers of 2022 are awarded, and so on.

The award consists of a plaque according to the revenue bracket achieved, personalized with the name of the seller or company.

Currently, there are 7 models of plaques that the seller can receive. Check the table below for the sizes and variations of the plaques for each revenue bracket:

Requirements to receive the award

Have an active Guru account subscription for a minimum of 3 months during the year of assessment;
Make sales through Checkout Guru;
Be the account owner (seller) - affiliates and co-producers do not participate in the award;
Have achieved a minimum revenue of R$500 Thousand, €100 Thousand, or $100 Thousand through Checkout Guru during the assessment period.

The revenue is not cumulative from one year to the next, meaning if you made 1 million reais in 2021 and 4 million reais in 2022, these amounts do not accumulate to reach 5 million for the 2023 award.

When the award takes place

The award takes place in the first quarter of each year, and the process covers 3 stages: assessment, award notification, and finally, production and shipping of the plaques.

Assessment

In January of each year, the internal team surveys the revenue of each client from sales made in the previous year through Checkout Guru. Then, they select those who meet all the award requirements.

Award Notification

Immediately after the assessment, the awardees are contacted by the responsible team, who will request the following information via a form:

Name desired on the plaque;
Updated shipping address;
Person responsible for receiving the plaque.

Attention: The form must be completed by February 28th of the current year. Responses after this date will be disregarded.

Production and shipping of plaques

After contacting all awardees and updating registration data, the plaques are sent for production. Shipping for production occurs between February and March.

Once that's done, just wait for the plaque to arrive at the indicated address and enjoy your award.

The Guru will send the tracking code for the plaque shipment, and if delivery is not made to the provided address and the plaque returns, the client will be responsible for re-shipping costs.
